We live in such a beautiful area, and Rotary has taken on the responsibility of keeping a portion of our local Highway 18 clear of litter whenever possible. Frequently, Rotarians, in their high-visibility safety vests, are seen picking up trash along the roadsides near Rim High School. And, while it’s true that we occasionally find a few dollar bills scattered in with the trash, mostly what we find is the pride that comes from helping to keep our community clean. Want to help? Get your hiking shoes on and join us for our next “clean up” day. It will take about two hours. It will be an enjoyable and rewarding experience. And you won’t soon forget the pleasant time with some caring Rotarians.
