What the Lake Arrowhead Rotary Club Does for Our Community

Gives major support to the community through scholarships, donations to community organizations and personal service.

We award about $15,000 a year in scholarships.

We donate another $15,000 to $25,000 to community organizations such as:

• Mountain Community Hospital
• The Hospital Emergency Room
• The Hospital Auxiliary
• The Hospital Foundation
• Rim Family Services
• Ann Stuart Memorial
• The Arrowhead Arts Association
• Christmas in April
• The Citizens Patrol for County Sheriff
• The National Children's Forest
• The Historical Society
• The Film Festival
• Rim High Interact Club
• Rim High Sports
• Rim High Band
• Rim of the World elementary schools
• Meals on Wheels
• The Children's Museum
• Operation Provider
• The Park Fund
• Youth Sports
• And, of course, the Braille Institute

In addition to countless hours of service in such projects as:

• Adopt a Highway
• Up to 4 blood drives a year
• Literacy programs with county library and Lake Arrowhead Elementary School
• Christmas in April
• Rotary Youth Leader Academy (RYLA)
• Interact and Youth Act
• And our favorite fundraiser, the Lake Arrowhead Art and Wine Festival

  And in addition, you will find that the members of our Club are the leaders of the community and are active in many more organizations.
