As the oldest service organization in the world, Rotary offers countless opportunities for members to “get involved” in the community and have a lot of fun while doing it. It’s never too late to join us and be a part of our Rotary Year! These are our upcoming events, in which you can be a major and valued Rotary team player.
February, 2012: Let’s hear it for the “PolaRotary Bears”!! This annual fund raiser is for community groups that provide food, shelter, and clothing for the less fortunate in our community. The “Bears” make the plunge into Lake Arrowhead on one of the coldest days of the year. Don’t miss it! Be part of it! Contact Dr. Pat Rains today at (909) 337-4541, and be a part of the next “PolaRotary Bear Plunge”.

April 28, 2012: Every April, Rotary teams with mountain contractors, Hearts and Lives, and Rebuilding Together, along with hundreds of volunteers. The purpose of this event is to help homeowners who are financially unable to make needed repairs to their homes. See more in our gallery of past events
Saturday and Sunday, June 23rd and 24th, 2012: No event garners greater anticipation than the Art & Wine Festival, our annual major fund raising event. Great wines and splendid art are displayed and enjoyed under the sparkling blue skies of Lake Arrowhead each June. As a Rotarian, you play a key role in making this event successful.

Challenge Day
March 2012: Every March, the mountain Rotary Clubs pool their resources to support Challenge Day, a unique and supportive multi-day event designed to grow our mountain teens into adults who have tolerance, understanding, and empathy for everyone around them, and most importantly...for themselves.
4-Way Speech Contest
Spring 2012: Rotarians and community leaders of tomorrow are the students of today. That's why the Lake Arrowhead Rotary Club annually sponsors the 4-Way Speech Contest. The ability to effectively communicate ideas and beliefs is a central tenant of Rotary, and we are proud to greet, hear, and sponsor these young, talented, and thoughtful people in our midst.
